The Internet is an invaluable tool for anyone interested in saving money, making more money, or beginning a new career. The convenience of being able to use the Internet anytime, from anywhere is why it is so great. Blogging is an easy way to make extra money just by writing about what you know

A blog (web log), is something you probably are familiar with. What you might not know, however, is that ANYONE can do it! The best blogs simply are simply written about things the author knows a lot about. And we ALL know at least something well, and there are always SOME people who will want to read about it. After you have a blog and have written a few posts, you can then use a service like Google Adsense. They will automatically put ads on your sight and whenever someone clicks the ad YOU make money. Sounds great right? To make money online you need traffic (people visiting your site). One way it to pay, the other way is to get natural, free traffic from places like Google and Yahoo. Blogging is great for the latter option, because they love original content that YOU write. You can learn many new skills and trades online

Often we need to learn new things, but we either do not have the time or money to go to an accredited institution. Many sites online offer free Interval training in many subjects for VERY little money, or totally for FREE! One example of such a site is Prosper U. Amazon.com is a great site for getting good deals. Often, and the part I really like, is you can get free shipping. Just look for the deals marked “FREE Super Saver Shipping”. e-Bay is also great. Many times you have two options to purchase from a seller: By Bid or “Buy it Now”. By strategic bidding you can usually get something at much less than market value. The “But it Now” option, of course, will always be more expensive but still generally you can get a good deal with the convenience of it being shipped right to your home. Both sites offer everything under the sun from bicycles to mobile phones. You should use the Internet as a free, additional way to market your skills

If you have a special talent, that you are currently not getting paid for, why not advertise for free on the Internet, and attract potential clients? This is the BEST thing about the Internet. Anyone can have a virtual shop space just by getting their information into the Internet. Great ways of doing this:

• Make your own website
• Make a blog (On your own domain name, or hosted by a service like blogger.com)
• Using classified sites like Craig’s List (craigslist.com)

You would be surprised how many people not only make money but find new careers simply by letting the world know what they can do. I, myself, became web developer by doing this, years ago.
